Icon Printers in Nairobi, Kenya has ordered a web offset book press from Kohlapur-based Indian manufacturer Sigmarq. The two 4-Hi tower 533 mm cut-off press attains a speed of 30,000 impressions an hour with the quarter folder running. Sigmarq director, Rajesh Ghorpade, says the press has several automation features built-in, such as auto posters and four QIPC mRC-3D-cameras for full color remote registration.
