Fujifilm has announced an Open House event at its Regional Bangkok Demonstration Centre on 3-4 July 2018. The two-day event will unveil Fujifilm’s latest printer, the Acuity B1, and inform and demonstrate the versatile printer. The printer was shown at the recent Fespa event in Berlin.
The Acuity B1 combines the newly developed inkjet technologies by Fujifilm – Dimatix QFR7 printheads and precision-formulated, high-performance inks to deliver high-quality results. With full automation including an B1 sheet feeder, the printer enables users to streamline their workflow, reduce labour costs, and increase production. Owing to its UV curing technology, output is instantly-dry, hence, speeding up turnaround times. The Acuity B1 has eight print channels and prints in CMYK, but Fujifilm is also apparently thinking of offering various ink options and increasing print speeds.
On Fujifilm’s latest introduction, Simon Nuvoletta, product manager, Fujifilm Graphic Systems, commented, “In developing the Acuity B1, we have solved a whole range of challenges print companies are facing across many sectors. We’ve found that so many applications – both indoor and outdoor – that could be made easier with a fully automatic sheet-fed B1 system.
“We’re also gearing up the machine to print on metals and plastics up to 10mm thick. With market-leading inkjet technology to deliver near-offset quality, we are convinced that the Acuity B1 will be a hugely attractive solution for an incredibly wide spread of customers.”
Fujifilm’s Acuity B1 has been developed to deliver business benefits across all print sectors. With multiple application possibilities, and near-offset printing quality, the Acuity B1 provides opportunities for businesses in the commercial, graphics and industrial print space.
The Open House event will take place at Fujifilm Demo and Training Centre in Bangkok on 3-4 July 2018, from 10 am onwards. For readers in India interested in taking part, contact: www.fujifilm.in or firstname.lastname@example.org.
