Mumbai to host digital conference for news publishers

The city of Mumbai is all set to host the 7th edition of digital event for news publishers in South Asia, Digital Media India 2018. Scheduled from 7-9 February at Courtyard by Mariott Mumbai International Airport, the conference will revolve around ideas on paid content, revenue strategies, digital transformation, use of intelligence data, platform publishing and viral content for mobile devices.

The event is expected to attract more than 175 senior news publishing executives from India and the global platform, including CEOs, CDOs, Digital Editors-in-Chief, CMOs, Digital Revenues Strategists, Sales Heads, Media Buyers and Advertising Agencies.

The list of speakers at the event include eminent names like Siddharth Varadarajan, founding editor, The Wire; David Higgerson, digital editorial strategy director, Trinity Mirror; Abdul Jalil Hamid, chief executive officer, The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Bhd; Himanshu Gautam, head – Digital Business, Amar Ujala, India; Gard Sterio, editor in chief and chief executive officer, VG – Verdens Gang AS; Esra Dogramaci, senior editor, Digital, DW – Deutsche Welle, Germany; Sathya Sriram, head of strategy, The Hindu Group, and many more.
Alongside the Digital Media India 2018 conference, two parallel pre-conference workshops will take place on 7 February, at the same venue. The pre-conference workshops will address paid content business models and Big Data for journalists.
