Best Innovation to Engage Youth Audiences award at South Asian Digital Media Awards 2017
South Asian Digital Media Awards will have a new category for entries that demonstrate strong evidence of the publishing company’s success in engaging youth audiences, especially children and teenagers, around any kind of initiative, including but not limited to news literacy, editorial and public service.
Jointly presented by WAN-IFRA and Google, the South Asian Digital Media Awards 2017 recognizes publishers who have adopted digital media and mobile strategies as part of their total product offering to meet the major changes in how people consume news and information today.
In addition to the new category, best innovation to engage youth audiences, other categories open for entries are best news website, best data visualisation, best innovation product, best in lifestyle, sports or entertainment website, best news mobile service, best in social media engagement, best use of online video (including vr), best lifestyle, sports or entertainment mobile service and best digital advertising campaign (including branded content).
Winners will be officially announced at the WAN-IFRA India 2017 Conference in Chennai, India on 13 September 2017.
